Sweet Briar in cherry (also available in dark oak and light oak) is a classic quartz-powered mantel clock designed in the tambour style. (A mechanical version is also available.) This timepiece features an ivory colored dial with black Arabic numerals and old style serpentine hands. The front bezel is made of milled brass with convex glass lens to reduce glare and is hinged to allow access to the hands. The clock is outfitted with a dual quartz movement that plays quarter hour Westminster chimes with full hour count. Lightweight and portable, this timepiece will fit on any mantel or shelf with 5 inch minimum of depth clearance. Includes chime silencer so as not to disturb anyone's slumber.
