Rombach & Haas (Romba) WOODCHOPPER Model 8362, 8-Day Black Forest Cuckoo Clock, is masterfully and lovingly crafted chalet style cuckoo clocks depicting a typical Black Forest cottage with a woodchopper preparing for the long Schwarzwald winter. The carved figure dressed in intricate traditional attire swings his little ax in time with the call of the cuckoo bird. The clock is hand-made in the Black Forest in Germany. The mechanical brass movement is driven by two weights and time is marked by the ticktock of a traditional wooden, hand carved pendulum. The cuckoo call sound is made by two wooden whistles with bellows inside the clock case.

Even the packaging has an old-world charm, as only paper is used. All the factory packing is made of the recycled materials. This clock makes a great gift for the young and old alike and is something can be treasured and passed on through generations.
